My theory about why the CDC is backing off and we the people are winning.

It's because of January 6th. You can't kill looters, rioters, rapists, and or vandals. Maybe you can shoot a couple but the rest get away with only a prison sentence. CDC understands this and after the invention of the phrase chant "I'm going to flash my D at the CDC so they can C", the CDC is really considering whether or not this can be done in mass and if it could then they are petrified. A bunch of psychopaths who are mostly peaceful, flashing their D's at the building could turn into another January 6th but with rapists instead of looters.....
